Weather from Lafayette...

January 18, 2008 - 1st Big Storm
This storm woke me up, I thought there was an ambulance outside our apt. complex because the lightning kept flashing like the lights on an ambulance, police car etc. It was AWESOME!!!

May 14, 2008 - Tornado Warning
We've had a couple Tornado "watches", but this was our fist warning. The tornado touched down in some areas near by, but it didn't visit our neighborhood, directly. As you can see the rain and a good gust of wind was what we got. The rain comes up fast, it's like ponds just drop out of the sky. The way this place floods blows my mind, I've never seen anything like the weather around here!!!

That is the closest I have ever been to a tornado, and I can't think of anyone I would rather be with during a storm than you!!

crazy! you be safe! that is really cool, though, to experience something so different. it sounds (and looks) like the weather in texas during my mission resembles this a lot. i found it very entertaining and intriguing, even if it did make me look even worse in my jumper!

Ooooo, I LOVE storms! (unless they're dangerous, of course...) I'm so happy to see you back to your computer!! It was SO MUCH FUN catching up and seeing all those great pictures! I didn't know you had a house in Utah! How great to be able to rent. And your apartment looks beautiful! I wish I could furniture shop with you - it's seriously one of my most favorite things to do in the world... I wish my house wasn't already full because I miss RC Willey... sad, I know.
