Smiles at 4:30 am

Kaleb isn't much of a crier...he grunts. The following situation isn't an exception to the "norm", but for some reason I felt I wanted to "document" it.

At 4:30 am I heard his little grunts starting up, he had been sleeping for 7 hours, but I still patted his chest to see if he'd find his way back to peaceful sleep. His eyes opened wide and once he recognized me a big smile spread across his face and his legs kicked with excitement to see me. I LOVE this precious child!!!

I fed him and after 20 min. just as quickly as he woke he was fast asleep...dreaming of the far off land of Motta-Fa-Potta-Fa-Pell where he rides on a Fizza-ma-Wizza-ma-Dill!!! (oh baby the places you'll go! - A book to read in utero, adapted from the works of Dr. Seuss)

I continue to hold him and just stare adoringly at this most perfect beautiful face. He doesn't need me to hold him...I NEED to hold him, I need to feel his peace, I need the calming of his love.
